today I finished my dirt bike slide show I have been working on for like a day now it was really fun and interesting to make I got heaps of facts. if you are thinking of buying a dirt bike but do not know much about them or just want to learn some facts then you should definitely read this. enjoyed researching this because I actually learnt some stuff myself. 

rangoli pattern

 

today I finished my rangoli pattern we have been working on for like 3 weeks now it is about Indian celebrations it is called Diwali and people like to make patterns for the celebration using powder they do because it gives them good luck so that is what we created. we first made it in our books when we were finished we colored them in and those are the colors I used.  also, everybody likes to share in Diwali so you would always have somebody knocking on your door with some food for you. my favorite thing about this was coloring it in on our books, and making one in our books was fun too. my least favorite thing was making it in my Chromebook because it was hard choosing the right thing to use to make it. it was also hard to place the circles on the sides because of how small they are. hope you enjoyed my rangoli pattern.

diwali vs matariki

 

today I'm posting my Diwali vs Matariki compare and contrast. so my favorite thing about this is it taught me some stuff I did not know about Diwali and Matariki there is some really cool thing that India does is they go to their neighbor's house and share some food because Diwali is all about sharing and all of there family come together and eat their favorite food so does Matariki and they both last more than one day.

today we finished our calendar art that we have been working on for the past week it is about where your favorite place is and mine is the gold coast in Australia we were in a hotel right next to the beach and one morning we went out on the beach and the sand was gold but there was sooooo many dead jelly fish on the ground so we had to be carefull i wanted to go swimming but i would probably get stung hope like it.

 here lies a man named rail he loved to pick his nail one night he ate some bread but it was stale then he got sick he felt like a brick then the next day he flopped like a drowning nit.

this past week we have been doing poetry and today we made a epitaph if you don't know what it is it is writing that goes on deceased peoples tombstones about how they died so we had to think of a funny habit and then make up our own person  it was really fun thinking of a rhyme hope you enjoy my poem

today we made a Paralympics ad we had buddies to work with. I and my buddy got it finished easy it was fun to make and pretty easy. 

back to school

 

today we had to make a back-to-school google drawing it was us answering questions about what I missed and how homeschool was different. i actually liked homeschool because the work did not take long to do and it was not as hard as normal school work my least favorite part was my speech we had to do in lockdown it was really awkward.

today I made another word of the week and the word was something I have no idea what it was but now I do my favorite part was learning new things and what some words meant was my least favorite part was doing the synonyms that was actually kinda hard so yea hope you enjoy.

top 5 jobs

 

today I finished something we have been working on for a couple of weeks and it is top 5 jobs we had to pick out 5 jobs and write facts about them and why lots of people want to have jobs like them. my favorite part was doing the researching because I learned new things I didn't even know about these jobs. my least favorite part was writing down the facts because that took a long time. but it was very fun learning new things about jobs and maybe this will make you want to do one of these jobs when you are older.

today we had to write a story about a lady who had super powers my least favurite part was having to read it to make sure it made sense but it was worth it.

today I finished our inquiry we have been working on for a few weeks and we have to present this to the class on Monday my favorite thing about this was being able to learn more things about electricity my least favorite thing was having to write it all down because it took me a long time to do that.

For the last couple of weeks, my class have been learning about octopuses and writing down facts on a big sheet we have done a lot of research and we got as much information as we can get and today we have to post it on our blogs 

The life cycle of an octopus has 4 stages egg larvae juvenile and adult and even some die after mating. A life cycle is when it gets born then grows into an adult. for example, it starts off as egg larvae- juvenile- adult.

 Octopus feed on crustacean clams, fish, and other octopi. Octopus-like living under rocks and hiding in the sand. Mainly around coastal waters. They are famous for their 8 tentacles and a large spherical head. 

Octopus is very playful resourceful and inquisitive and is very famous for being able to open jars and throw things at people they are also very good at escaping.

They are usually found in rocky areas and love to hide under rocks and catch food there because there are lots of crabs and lobsters in rocky places.

        

word of the week

today I finished my word of the week. this time we had to create our own picture other than going on google to get one there. my favorite part was making my own picture but it was a bit hard because we just had to use the shapes.

today we finished our t shaped literacy my favorite part was finishing it because if we didn't finish it we would have to do this at home and my least favorite part was reading the pages to get the information to write down because it took a very long time too read the story.  

5 benefits of being fit

 

today we did a 4js run that we do every Wednesday 4js is a shop I think it takes 2 kilometers a lot of people decided to hide and not do the run because they hate it so when we got back we challenged the class above us to make 5 benefits of being fit and whoever made the best one got a lot of house points hope you enjoy   

shooting range in town

 Dear Tania Gibson My name is Dean I want a shooting range in town it would help people learn about guns they can practice their aim and it is a safe place to shoot.

Gun safety is very important the only time you should not have the safety off is when you are ready to shoot. you can only buy guns if you are 18 or over but if children got a gun as a gift they are allowed to use it and keep it but the gun would have to be signed for the parents.  You need a gun license to own a gun and you have to go to the police station and sign papers and prove that, you can own a gun and if you ever want to buy a handgun you have to be in a special club or a special license.                                               

In conclusion, I think that we need a shooting range in town I hope that you understand my ideas that I thought of. I think that it would be pretty cool to have a shooting range in town. 

today I finally finished my shooting range writing that I have been working on for a while we have been trying persuasive writing lately and this was one of them we spent a long time making. I liked making this because I tried my best.
